I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not accept insurance directly. However, I provide detailed superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
Many clients find that this approach offers more privacy, flexibility, and continuity of care. You are not limited by insurance-approved sessions or subject to diagnosis requirements that may not reflect the complexity of your experience.
I maintain a limited number of reduced-fee sessions. These spots are currently full, but I encourage you to reach out if cost is a barrier—I am happy to discuss options or provide referrals to colleagues who may have availability.
I accept debit cards, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards for payment. Sessions are billed at the time of the appointment.
Please verify with your HSA/FSA plan that outpatient mental health services are covered and whether there are any restrictions on out-of-network providers.
I ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the time to another client who may need it.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee. This also applies to no-shows.
I understand that life happens—illness, emergencies, and unexpected circumstances arise. I approach this policy with flexibility when unavoidable conflicts occur, and we can discuss alternative arrangements if needed.
The cancellation policy exists because I reserve your appointment time exclusively for you. When a session is cancelled without adequate notice, that time cannot be filled, and it impacts both my ability to serve other clients and the sustainability of my practice.
Under federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for therapy services.
For individual therapy, the expected charge is $250 per 50-minute session. Most clients attend weekly or bi-weekly sessions, though frequency may vary based on your needs and what we determine together.
If you have questions about the cost of care or would like a more detailed estimate based on anticipated frequency and duration of treatment, please ask during our consultation. I am happy to provide this in writing.
You also have the right to dispute any charges that substantially exceed the Good Faith Estimate. More information about your rights is available at cms.gov/nosurprises.
